Where Are They Now - Judie Wang
In 2013, Judie joined QE to study Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics, and AS Physics. Alongside academics, she made her mark as a prefect and a percussionist in the school production. For Judie, QE offered a unique and memorable experience, shaping her personal and professional growth.
It was during her time at QE that she discovered her passion for actuarial sciences and the importance of practical experience. This led her to pursue a BSc in Actuarial Sciences along with a Diploma in Industrial Training at Heriot-Watt University as a second-year direct entrant in 2015. 🎓
Her journey continued with a placement year at PwC Actuarial Services, where she later secured a role after graduation. Today, Judie excels as a Catastrophe Risk Reporting Manager at AXA XL, focusing on quarterly reporting for Natural Catastrophe risk.
Her story is a testament to the power of dedication, hands-on experience, and a supportive community. 💛💜💙
