Welcome to Camp QE! Our exciting and inclusive multi-activity day camps provide a perfect blend of fun, creativity, and adventure throughout the school holidays.

Located at the picturesque Thorpe Underwood Estate in Yorkshire, these camps are open to all children up to Year 11—and you don’t need to be a QE student to join! 

  • Camp Hours: 9:00 – 16:00
  • Free Wraparound Care: 8:00 – 17:30
  • Hot lunch, snacks and drinks included.

Camp QE offers fun and exciting multi-activity day camps throughout the school holidays.

Every day at Camp QE is different and packed with fun activities, sports, games and arts and crafts. Outdoor activities range from popular sports such as football, rugby and tennis, to rock climbing, scavenger hunts and skating. Our indoor activities can include basketball, swimming, dodgeball, table tennis, baking, tie-dying t-shirts, and much more.

Our Camp Age Groups

Camp QE Minis

(Formerly known as Chapter House Holiday Club)

  • Age Group: Up to Year 1 (Year 1 students can choose between Minis and Juniors)
  • Hours: 8:30 – 17:00
  • Upcoming Camp Dates: 17 – 21 February 2025

Specialist Early Years practitioners work alongside our Camp QE team to deliver a fun and educational activity programme in small groups of eight.

Activities by Early Year Practitioners: 

  • Forest School
  • Walks and outdoor exploration
  • Creative crafts and Lego building

Activities by Camp QE:

  • Pool parties and splash fun
  • Biscuit decorating
  • Sports, scavenger hunts, and escape rooms
Camp QE Juniors
  • Age Group: Years 1 to 7
  • Hours: 9:00 – 16:00 (wraparound care: 8:00 – 17:30)

Camp QE Juniors is an award-winning day activity camp. Each week features a unique theme and team-based challenges for children to earn points. At the end of the week, the team with the least points puts forward their Team Leader for an amusing punishment.

    • Week 1 (28 July – 1 August 2025): Wilderness Explorer Week
    • Week 2 (4 - 8 August 2025): Demolition Week
    • Week 3 (11 – 15 August 2025): Festival Week
    • Week 4: (18 – 22 August 2025): Around the World Week

Camp QE Seniors
  • Age Group: Years 7 to 11 (Year 7 students can choose between Juniors or Seniors)
  • Hours: 9:00 – 16:00 (wraparound care: 8:00 – 17:30)
  • Upcoming Dates: Summer 2025 (specific dates TBC)

Tailored for older children, Camp QE Seniors focuses on adrenalin-filled sports and team challenges. The week ends with an exciting final showdown and a camp-wide party!

Sibling Discount & Payments

  • Sibling discounts are offered at 10% for a second child and any subsequent children in attendance.
  • Once we receive your Camp QE booking, we will send an invoice for payment. We kindly request that fees be paid by the invoice due date. 
  • Camp QE accepts Childcare Vouchers and Government Tax Free Childcare scheme payments which can be used as part or full payment for your booking. 
  • All Camp QE fees are payable in advance of your childcare. 
  • Please note that it is not possible to cancel/refund or swap any of the days booked once we have confirmed your child’s place. Non-attendance for a booked session will still be charged at the published rate.
  • The Collegiate does not accept any liability be it financially, consequentially, or otherwise for any acts or omissions of the pupil nor will it reduce/refund/waive fees or additional charges where the pupil does not attend, participate in or otherwise make use of the service provided due to sickness, accident, loss, damage, suspension, exclusion, expulsion, withdrawal (be it temporary or permanent) or study leave.
  • We do not accept payments by cash or cheque.
